Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Housekeeper for the Paediatric Emergency Department in Basildon. The role is Band 2, part-time, 28 hours per week, covering weekdays and weekends, with a pro rata salary of £25,272 per annum for full-time.

Qualifications

• Good Basic Education.
• GCSE English /NVQ in support services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the environment.
• Assist in ordering, managing and safely storing ward supplies.
• Support the running and upkeep of the Polly Parrot Parents Accommodation when it is running.
• Coordinate patient facilities and services to support smooth ward operations.
• Assist nursing staff by carrying out errands and delivering/collecting items.
