Job summary

Bromley Healthcare is seeking a Band 6 Children's Occupational Therapist (Development role) to join the Paediatric OT service. The role supports children and young people up to 18 with functional needs in self-care, play and school occupations, with a pathway from Band 5 to 6 on competency progression.

The post offers flexible hours (22.5–37.5 per week) with development opportunities, supervision and a rich benefits package within a community NHS setting.

Qualifications

• Registered paediatric occupational therapist with NHS experience preferred.
• Ability to assess and plan interventions for children with functional needs.
• Comfortable working within a tiered Universal-Targeted-Targeted+-Specialist framework.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based paediatric OT within school settings.
• Manage a clinical caseload and develop a specialist paediatric OT service.
• Carry out assessments using standardised and non-standardised tools.
• Develop and implement treatment programmes to support daily activities.
• Provide advice to families, teachers and other professionals.
• Maintain high-quality notes and contribute to service development.
