Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. You will plan and deliver engaging PE lessons, encouraging students to develop their physical skills, confidence, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have experience teaching PE in a secondary setting, and possess strong classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Encourage participation in extracurricular activities where required.

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time

Are you a passionate PE Teacher looking to inspire students through sport and physical activity? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher to deliver engaging PE lessons and encourage students to develop their physical skills, confidence, teamwork, and understanding of healthy lifestyles. The successful candidate will join a supportive department and play an important role in encouraging students to participate in a wide range of sporting activities.

The Role:

• Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teaching a range of practical sports and physical activities.
• Supporting students to develop their sporting skills, confidence, and teamwork.
• Monitoring, assessing, and supporting student progress.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Encouraging participation in extracurricular sporting activities where required.
• Contributing to the wider life of the PE department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
