Job summary

Milk Education is currently recruiting a PE Teacher for a secondary school in Tameside. You will deliver practical PE and theory sessions across KS3/KS4, and support extra-curricular activities in a dynamic school setting.

The role requires a QTS in Physical Education, strong classroom management, and the ability to motivate a diverse pupil cohort. A DBS on the Update Service is preferred, with excellent CPD and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status specialising in Physical Education (QTS).
• Experience delivering practical PE and GCSE/BTEC Sport theory.
• Strong behaviour management and ability to engage disengaged students.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality practical PE lessons across multiple sports (football, netball, athletics, gymnastics).
• Teach GCSE PE and BTEC Sport theory to KS4 students.
• Organise and lead extra-curricular sports clubs and inter-school fixtures.
• Ensure student safety, equipment safety, and follow risk assessments.

Your main responsibilities will include:
