Job summary

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Spilsby. This role offers flexible daily supply with potential for full-time/part-time hours and progression into longer-term roles.

The ideal candidate will deliver PE lessons across KS3/KS4, promote physical activity, teamwork and healthy lifestyles, and uphold high behavioural standards within a safeguarding framework.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• DBS on Update Service preferred or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach practical and classroom-based PE activities where required.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and student participation.
• Adapt lessons to suit different abilities and year groups.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, confidence, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour policies.
• Provide feedback to school staff as required.

Salary: £130 - £180 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable PE Teacher to work on a supply basis in secondary schools in Spilsby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified PE teacher who enjoys variety and wants the flexibility of supply teaching without the commitment of a permanent position.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach engaging PE lessons, encourage students to stay active, and promote teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Teach practical and classroom-based PE activities where required
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and student participation
• Adapt lessons to suit different abilities and year groups
• Promote teamwork, discipline, confidence, and a positive attitude towards physical activity
• Follow school safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour policies
• Provide feedback to school staff where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school

• Confidence leading practical lessons and managing groups of students
• A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
