Job summary

GSL Education Hull Branch is seeking a passionate PE Teacher to deliver engaging physical education lessons in Hull. The role is temporary with Full Time hours and term-time only requirements, starting as soon as possible. A daily rate ranges from £174.70 to £270.94, depending on experience.

Role involves planning, adapting activities for various abilities, and promoting teamwork, health and positive attitudes toward sport. DBS update service or application is required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge in Physical Education or sport.
• Experience teaching or supporting pupils in a school setting is desirable.
• Ability to manage groups effectively and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

Are you a passionate and motivated PE Teacher who can inspire young people to develop their physical skills, confidence and teamwork? GSL Education Hull Branch are looking for a dedicated PE Teacher to support pupils in a school setting in Hull.

This role is suited to a teacher who can deliver engaging, inclusive physical education lessons while adapting their approach to meet different abilities and individual learning needs. You will help pupils develop healthy habits, positive relationships and self-discipline within a structured and supportive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that develop pupils' physical skills, fitness, coordination and teamwork.

• Strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
