Prospero Teaching is working with a Good Ofsted rated Secondary School located in Southampton, Hampshire, seeking a PE Cover Supervisor.

Role Overview: Cover Supervisors are suitably-trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence. The main responsibility is to manage a classroom, ensuring student safety and engagement with the set work.

This role involves delivering Physical Education & General Cover across the school as required. It is an excellent opportunity for graduates and/or aspiring PE Teachers.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience working in a UK school or with young people
• Sports Coaching Qualifications and/or a Sports-related degree
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (training available if required)

• An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
