Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school based in Wimborne on a temporary basis for the Summer Term.

This role involves teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering an engaging and inclusive PE curriculum that promotes physical development, confidence, and teamwork among students.

The school welcomes applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced professionals. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to extend the role or transition into a permanent position.

CONTRACT DETAILS:

Location: Wimborne, Dorset

Position: PE Teacher

Type of Work: Secondary PE Teaching

Start Date: May 2025

Duration: Temporary – Summer Term (with potential to become permanent)

End Date: July 2025 (TBC)

Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (possibility of permanent)

Pay: From £120-150 per day (depending on experience)

Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent

At least 1 year of PE teaching experience preferred

Recent Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR TEACHING PERSONNEL:

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

Two recent, child-related professional references
