Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a skilled PDI & Servicing Technician to manage pre-delivery inspections, routine servicing and MOT repairs across a diverse range of modern vehicles.

Base location is Bodiam / East Sussex with free on-site parking. The role emphasizes strong hands-on diagnostics, rapid inspections and precise mechanical prep in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or solid time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong hands-on skills in rapid vehicle inspection, maintenance, fault diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) across a varied range of modern vehicles.
• Perform routine servicing and MOT repairs as required.
• Prepare vehicles by performing mechanical prep and safety checks.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure high vehicle throughput.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 basic per annum
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM — STRICTLY NO WEEKENDS (Enjoy every single weekend off)

Requirements

• Strong hands-on skills in rapid vehicle inspection, maintenance, fault diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Location & Commute

• Base: Bodiam / East Sussex area (Free secure on-site parking)
• Road Links: Conveniently located with straightforward rural access routes across Kent and East Sussex.
• Commutable From: Bodiam, Robertsbridge, Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Rye, Hawkhurst, Cranbrook, and Tenterden.
