Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc in Bawal is seeking a PC Line Operator on a fixed-term contract. You will join a world leader in platinum group metals and contribute to loading, inspection and packing while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes adherence to standard processes, energy-efficient operation, and opportunities to support continuous improvement and training of colleagues. You will work on PC and MPC lines as required.

Qualifications

• Follows safety standards and remains compliant with all safety procedures.
• Has basic to intermediate computer skills with familiarity of standard software.
• 2+ years on temp role in JM, or 1 year JM, or ITI-4 years in Mechanical/Automobile/Chemical.
• Knowledge of PC/MPC Coating Process.
• Willing to discuss further if only some skills match the role.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to standard operations safely and to a high quality standard.
• Load/unload, inspect and pack according to specifications.
• Check quality of work against JM and customer specs.
• Escalate issues to ensure timely resolution and maintain production flow.
• Support CAPS implementation and lean tools (problem solving, 5S).
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and best practice adoption.
• Assist in training other Operators.
• Operate equipment to minimize energy use while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Participate in energy conservation projects or Kaizen activities.
• Work on PC and MPC lines as needed.

The role:

• Always adheres to safety standards
• Identifies opportunities to improve safety
• To carry out standard operations effectively in a safe manner to a high-quality standard. E.g. loading / unloading, inspecting and packing.
• Checks quality of work according to JM and customer specifications.
• Accountable for following standard processes to complete tasks.
• Escalates issues to ensure a timely resolution.
• Identifies and escalates opportunities for improvement.
• Supports CAPS implementation, as part of this using lean tools such a problem solving and 5S.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and the implementation of best practice principles, to enhance performance and operations.
• Supports in the training of other Operators.
• Operate equipment and machinery in a manner that minimizes energy consumption without compromising productivity and quality.
• Actively participate in energy conservation projects or Kaizen activities.
• Focuses on daily assignments.
• Works within relevant operational area, with exposure to other manufacturing areas.
• Working on both PC & MPC Line as needed

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Works in accordance with procedures and rules
• Basic to intermediate knowledge in computer usage.
• Worked at least 2 Year on Temp role in JM or 1 Year JM role or ITI- 4 Years in Mechanical/Automobile/Chemical
