PCB Design Engineer - £45 - 50k – Milton Keynes – Hybrid

My client is a renowned company in their niche providing tracking and simulation products for a range of sectors. Due to sustained success, they’re expanding their engineering team.

Main Duties:

1. Develop analogue and digital electronics, and design PCB layouts.
2. Work closely with team members to determine PCB configurations, outlines, interfaces, and interconnects.
3. Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including PCB fabrication and assembly drawings.
4. Conduct hardware design verification, troubleshooting, and debugging, as well as engaging in product EMC testing.

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
2. 4+ years experience of PCB design in a commercial environment.
3. Experience using PCB design tools like Altium or Cadence.
4. Experience in both analogue and digital design and layout.

Bonus:

1. Knowledge of FPGA design.
2. Knowledge of GNSS or automotive industry applications.
