Responsibilities include:

1. Capture circuit diagrams for new electronic designs.
2. Design PCBs to embody the circuits, ensuring layouts conform to IPC standards, RF, thermal, and design for X requirements.
3. Ensure design integrity using all provided tools.

Qualifications:

• HNC in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in engineering product lifecycle and development phases.
• Preferably at least 4 years of experience in PCB design.
• Experience working within the Aerospace sector is an advantage.

Additional requirements:

• Designs should be simple and easy for manufacturing, adhering to project or production timescales.
• Supporting drawings and documents must be clear and unambiguous.
• Thorough and comprehensible responses to NCRs during the Materials Review Board process.
• Manufacturers should be able to easily use the PCB design data produced, including Gerber files.
• Minimal change requests on newly released designs due to PCB layout errors.
