NCR Atleos in the United Kingdom is seeking a PC Technician to test, repair, configure, and dispatch ATM PC Cores. You will work with PC hardware, imaging, and stock control to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Strong English communication, practical hardware knowledge, and the ability to follow scripts and procedures are essential. Training will be provided for company systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Able to follow instructions and scripts accurately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to operate engineering tools including multimeters, test equipment, and drills.
• Desktop PC hardware and software loading experience is a bonus; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Manual handling of materials and light to medium lifting.
• Test, repair, and verify ATM PC Cores.
• Pre-stage PC cores via imaging server; configure communications.
• Package and dispatch cores with site details and labels.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate retrieval from warehouse.
• Diagnose and resolve Out-of-Box Failures using spare parts.
• Process returns and salvage usable components for upgrades.

About The Role

As a PC Technician, you'll test, repair, configure, and dispatch ATM PC Cores.

This role is ideal for someone with strong PC hardware knowledge who enjoys investigating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective fixes with confidence and initiative.

Main Responsibilities

• Manual Handling: Perform tasks involving light to medium lifting. Occasional use of ladders (up to 3 metres) required.
• PC Core Testing: Unbox cores (stored ~2 years), verify specifications, and test using Quick tech Pro.
• PC Core Pre-Staging: Load live image via existing imaging server (up to 20 cores at once) and configure comms.
• Packaging & Dispatch: Label cores with site details, package kits into a single box (core + EPP + drill if needed), and generate RICO labels.
• Stock Control: Monitor and manage stock levels (cores, EPP kits, drills), coordinate retrieval from secondary warehouse, and track all outgoing items.
• Brake-fix: Diagnose and resolve Out-of-Box Failures using spare parts from the depot or salvaged returns.
• Returns Processing: Sort returned cores, recover usable units or parts for future upgrades.

Key Requirements

• Strong written and verbal English skills; able to follow instructions and scripts accurately.
• Confident in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, to develop and maintain spreadsheets and create summary status reports.
• Able to operate engineering tools, including multi meters, test equipment, and drill machines.
• Desktop PC hardware and software loading experience is a plus. Training will be provided for all company-specific systems.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of managing time effectively to meet targets.
