Job summary

NCR Atleos in Rotherham is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to manage materials for ATM installations and support stock movement between internal teams and external contractors.

You will receive deliveries, prepare stock, and help with inventory control while adhering to health and safety standards. A forklift licence and H&S certification are preferred, with training offered if needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and Health & Safety certification preferred or willingness to complete training.
• Experience in warehouse, stores or logistics environment preferred.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and MS Office is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving light to medium lifting and occasional ladder use.
• Receive, book-in and distribute deliveries for ATM installations.
• Pick, pack and prepare materials for in-house and 3rd party installation teams.
• Support stock control activities, including stock takes and cycle counts.
• Handle parts returns and shipments, supporting Repair Centre logistics.
• Load and unload deliveries and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment and support routine audits.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll help manage materials for cash machine installations, including receiving deliveries and supplying stock to in-house and 3rd party installation and electrical teams. You’ll report to the Warehouse Supervisor and hold a forklift licence and Health & Safety certification or be willing to complete the required training.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support stock control activities, including stock takes and cycle counts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of H&S best practices; CSCS card (or equivalent), or willingness to undertake training.
• Experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment preferred.
• Forklift (Reach and/or Counterbalance) and Hydraulic Pallet Truck experience desirable, or willingness to gain certification.
• Good Microsoft Office skills; Oracle ERP experience advantageous.
• Strong communication, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
