Job summary

Orchard Hill College seeks a dedicated PBS Practitioner to join the integrated services team. This role focuses on promoting Positive Behaviour Support, conducting FBAs, and developing plans to improve learners' quality of life across college sites in London and Surrey.

The right candidate has experience with SEN and autism, works with families and therapists, and values person-centered care in a diverse educational setting. Closing date 09/09/2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with SEN, learning disabilities, or autism in educational or care settings.
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support, including behaviour assessment and intervention.
• Experience working collaboratively with families, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Compassionate, respectful, and learner-centred in approach.
• Skilled at building trust and meaningful partnerships with learners and their families.

Responsibilities

• Promote PBS values in college activities with a person-centred approach.
• Contribute to Functional Behaviour Assessments with the PBS team.
• Design and monitor PBS plans and interventions to improve quality of life.
• Reduce restrictive practices and apply least-restrictive, positive strategies.
• Support learners and families in understanding PBS strategies and rights.
