Job summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Certitude's Specialist Support Team to make a real difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. We are looking for someone with experience in designing, implementing and embedding person-centred assessments and interventions in line with Positive Behaviour Support approaches.

Your enthusiasm, drive for quality, excellent communication skills and track record of getting things done are needed.

Qualifications

  • Hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or related discipline.
  • Sound understanding of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
  • Proven experience conducting functional behaviour assessments and implementing PBS strategies.
  • Competence in data analysis to inform behaviour support planning and monitor quality-of-life outcomes.
  • Ability to build and maintain respectful, trust-based relationships with individuals and families.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting functional behaviour assessments and analysing data to develop and implement PBS strategies
  • Supporting individuals at risk of exclusion or hospital admission through tailored support
  • Ensuring all assessments are person centred and accurately reflect risks and needs
  • Helping to deliver systems which monitor progress and outcomes
  • Delivering training and coaching to build PBS capacity within a team
  • Working in partnership with individuals, families and professionals

Salary: £37,133 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours

Job Type: Permanent – Full-time

Location: Head Office – Balham or Ealing and working from home (hybrid)
