Job summary

Orchard Hill College seeks a dedicated PBS Practitioner to join the integrated services team. This role focuses on promoting Positive Behaviour Support, conducting FBAs, and developing plans to improve learners' quality of life across college sites in London and Surrey.

The right candidate has experience with SEN and autism, works with families and therapists, and values person-centered care in a diverse educational setting. Closing date 09/09/2026.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PBS Practitioner to join our integrated services team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about education and making a real difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and embed PBS values throughout college activities, fostering a proactive, person-centred approach to behaviour support.
• Conduct and contribute to Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) in collaboration with the PBS Clinical Lead and the integrated therapy team.
• Design, implement, and monitor PBS plans and behavioural interventions that focus on improving quality of life and reducing behaviours of concern.
• Work to reduce and eliminate the use of unnecessary restrictive practices, using least-restrictive, preventative, and positive strategies.
• Support learners, families, and staff in understanding and applying PBS strategies, with a focus on inclusion, respect, and human rights.
• Ensure that all behaviour support planning is co-produced with learners and their families/caregivers, reflecting their values, preferences, and goals.
