Job summary

Spectra Care LTD is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to enhance quality of life for individuals with complex needs in London, covering Newham and Ilford. You will design and monitor PBS plans, provide hands-on coaching to support workers, and liaise with families and professionals to promote best practices.

In this role you will lead collaborative assessments, deliver PBS and Active Support training, maintain accurate records, and contribute to service evaluation while upholding

Qualifications

• Must have MSc in applied behaviour analysis or Positive Behaviour Support and accreditation by UK-SBA or BCBA (essential).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Confident working independently within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behaviour assessments to understand behaviours of concern.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs).
• Lead reduction and monitoring of restrictive practices in line with RRN principles.
• Design data collection systems to evaluate interventions.
• Provide coaching and feedback to support staff in PBS delivery.
• Promote inclusion, autonomy and rights of individuals.
