Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) seeks a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to join the Barnet CAMHS SCAN Team. You will lead behavioural assessments and deliver PBS interventions to improve wellbeing for children and young people with ASD, ADHD, and related needs.

The role involves developing person-centred formulations, coordinating with families, schools, social care and other professionals, and promoting least restrictive practice across services.

Qualifications

• Prior CAMHS experience
• Experience in mental health systems and services

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and young people referred to the service.
• Formulate and implement treatment and care plans using evidence-based approaches.
• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, carers, families and groups.
• Develop, implement and review Positive Behaviour Support plans.
• Undertake Functional Behaviour Assessments and behavioural formulations.
• Provide specialist PBS consultation, advice and guidance to professionals.
