Job summary

Avenues in Hildenborough, Tonbridge is seeking a Bank Support Worker to assist five men with learning disabilities, autism and communication needs. A rural setting requires access to a vehicle or transport; prior PBS experience is valued.

The role is contract, zero hours, with a wage of £12.71 per hour. You’ll support daily living, personal care and community integration, promoting dignity and independence in a compassionate team.

• Experience in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern.
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches.
• Calm, patient and emotionally resilient.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live independently with dignity and choice.
• Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with daily living tasks including cooking, shopping and finances.
• Provide personal care where required.
• Use PBS approaches to respond to behaviours of concern.
• Encourage community participation and meaningful relationships.
• Work with families and professionals to achieve best outcomes.
