Job summary

Avenues Group in Hildenborough is seeking an experienced Male Support Worker to join our specialist Positive Behaviour Support service, supporting five men with learning disabilities, autism and communication needs. A full-time, on-site role with a rota across Monday to Sunday, and a requirement to have access to a vehicle due to rural location.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern within a PBS environment is essential.
• Willingness to work a rota across all shifts, including weekends, on-site in a rural location.
• Access to a vehicle or driving licence due to rural service location.

Responsibilities

• Support five men with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern in a PBS service.
• Promote dignity, independence and positive outcomes through person-centred approaches.
• Adapt to a rotating full-time schedule and maintain consistent relationships with service users.
