Job summary

Blusource is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead a small team and take ownership of 11 monthly payrolls for around 2,000 colleagues. The role offers hybrid working in Leicestershire and a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for permanency.

You will drive payroll accuracy, oversee controls and reporting, and work with HR and Finance to implement a new payroll system while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a payroll function in a busy environment.
• Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge in high-volume settings.
• Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead two Payroll Assistants and oversee 11 monthly payrolls.
• Ensure payrolls are delivered accurately and on time.
• Manage payroll controls, reconciliations, reporting and escalated queries.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and colleagues across the business.
• Support process improvements and the introduction of a new payroll system.
