RECfinancial are partnering with a well established business to recruit an experienced Payroll Team Leader. The role offers hybrid working in Leicestershire with responsibility for end-to-end payroll, supervision, and compliance within a multi-entity environment.

The successful candidate will oversee monthly payroll, manage changes, ensure statutory compliance, and drive process improvements while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Proven UK payroll experience.
• End-to-end payroll processing knowledge.
• Strong understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments.
• Experience supervising payroll staff (desirable).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end monthly payroll processing.
• Manage payroll changes including starters, leavers and amendments.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external bodies.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Resolve payroll queries and discrepancies.
• Supervise and develop junior payroll team members.
• Support payroll controls, audits and process improvements.
