Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting a Payroll Manager to take full ownership of end-to-end payroll for approximately 600 staff across multiple sites. You will report to the Head of HR and be the payroll subject matter expert, ensuring accurate and compliant processing.

You will manage monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees, oversee overtime, deductions, pensions, RTI submissions and year-end activities while collaborating with HR and Finance to develop payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering payroll end-to-end across multiple sites.
• Proven ability to manage both salaried and hourly payrolls.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processing start to finish for ~600 staff.
• Process payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
• Handle overtime, deductions, pension auto-enrolment and year-end tasks.
• Ensure HMRC compliance and RTI submissions.
• Reconcile payroll data and produce reports.
• Serve as main payroll contact with HR and Finance.
