Johnson's Workwear is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team in the UK. The role focuses on delivering accurate payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and providing payroll guidance across the business.

A strong attention to detail and teamwork with HR are essential. The successful candidate will handle starters and leavers, data validation, and payroll queries while supporting month-end and year-end activities.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in payroll administration or similar role.
• Good communication skills and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Processing payroll changes including starters, leavers, contractual amendments and employee updates.
• Maintaining accurate employee payroll records and supporting payroll data validation processes.
• Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner.
• Assisting with the preparation and processing of payrolls within agreed deadlines.
• Identifying and reporting payroll discrepancies, supporting their resolution where required.
• Ensuring payroll documentation is completed accurately and stored in accordance with company procedures.
• Supporting month-end and year-end payroll activities.
• Working closely with HR and operational teams to maintain accurate employee information.
• Assisting with payroll reporting and administrative tasks as required.
• Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll and employee information.
• Providing support and cover for other members of the payroll team when required.
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider payroll function.
