Job summary

Artemis Human Capital partners with a well-established energy organisation in Belfast to recruit a Payroll Specialist for the HR team. The role focuses on end-to-end monthly payroll across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and HMRC compliance, including pension and auto-enrolment duties, and year-end tasks.

There will be HR admin support during quieter periods, such as recruitment coordination and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience processing monthly payroll across multiple entities.
• Knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and pensions.
• Experience with payroll software (PayCircle or similar).
• Understanding of payroll compliance and year-end processes.
• HR administration experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end monthly payroll across multiple group entities.
• Manage payroll changes: new starters, leavers, amendments, overtime, expenses.
• Calculate PAYE, NI, pension contributions and other deductions.
• Administer holiday pay, taxable benefits and statutory payments.
• Support auto-enrolment pension duties and liaise with providers.
