Job summary

OneSource Virtual (OSV) is seeking a Managed Payroll Specialist to provide full-service payroll processing for high‑level managed payroll customers. You will interact with clients via the ticketing system, triage inquiries, and ensure timely, accurate payroll processing in a hybrid role based in Derry.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree and a CIPP Certified Payroll Professional certification (or within 6 months), plus at least 3 years of payroll experience.

• Minimum 3 years of payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides full service payroll processing for high level managed payroll customers.
• Monitor tickets daily to ensure SLA and client satisfaction.
• Resolve customer issues including Root Cause Analysis and remedial procedures.
• Direct client contact to maintain relationships.
• Create and maintain SOPs for managed payroll clients.
• Attend weekly, monthly and quarterly client calls and transitions.
• Provide training to new clients on Workday and OSV payroll processing.
• Assist with configuration of pay components and reports for client use.
• Assist with testing for new clients.
• Lead special projects as assigned by Management.

** This is a hybrid position that requires you to go into the office at least once a week. The office is located on Patrick Street in Derry. This is a 12-month fixed contract to cover an employee leave**

Summary

The Managed Payroll Specialist primary responsibilities include full service payroll processing for the high level managed payroll customers, customer interaction to solve and/or triage customer initiated inquiries via the OneSource ticketing system, roles and final settlement activities in an outsourcing environment. The Managed Payroll Specialist must be a payroll expert and a client advocate with an ability to think “outside the box” to problem solve for the client. This role is for a skilled payroll professional who is dedicated to providing a superior customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding payroll services support
• Monitor tickets daily to ensure Service Level Agreements and high class client satisfaction levels are being met
• Manage the timely resolution of customer issues including handling customer escalations, perform and document Root Cause Analysis and implement remedial procedures to close gaps identified
• Frequent direct customer contact – initiate and maintain client relationships
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for the managed payroll clients
• Attend scheduled weekly, monthly and quarterly client calls and new client transition introduction meetings
• Provide training to newly implemented clients on Workday and OSV Payroll Processing
• Assist with configuration of pay components and reports necessary for use by the client
• Assist with testing as applicable with newly implemented clients
• Interfaces directly with clients to identify/resolve all payroll processing issues
• Leads/supports special projects as assigned by Management
• Act as main point of contact through payroll deployments and cut over to managed services

Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirements

• Associate’s degree

Required

• CIPP Certified Payroll Professional certification required (at time of hire or within 6 months)
• 3 Years + payroll experience
