Meraki Talent is delighted to be engaged in the appointment of a Payroll Professional for one of the UK’s leading accountancy firms. This role is based in the Stirling / Falkirk area, and has a salary of up to £32,000 and offers hybrid & flexible working.

The Role

Due to continued growth within the Payroll Services function, the firm is looking to appoint a Payroll Professional to support their expanding team. They welcome candidates with varied levels of experience and offer flexibility in terms of office location across Scotland.

This role involves managing all aspects of payroll, supporting a wide range of clients, and leading a team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Calculating PAYE and National Insurance contributions (weekly and monthly)
  • Processing payments for absences, including sickness, maternity, and paternity leave
  • Administering Real Time Information (RTI) submissions
  • Supporting the auto-enrolment process for pension schemes
  • Completing tax year-end procedures for a diverse client base
