Job summary

ISS is seeking a customer-focused payroll support professional in the United Kingdom to deliver a high-quality service to employees. You will be the first point of contact for payroll queries by phone, email and the query management system, logging and triaging requests.

You will work with the Payroll Service Team during peak periods, ensuring queries meet SLAs, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, and supporting colleagues across the payroll cycle.

Responsibilities

• Log, manage and monitor payroll queries to ensure timely resolution.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee payroll queries via phone, email and the query management system.
• Respond directly to queries or allocate them to the appropriate team for action.
• Monitor and follow up outstanding queries to support a positive employee experience.
• Ensure all payroll queries are resolved within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Support the wider Payroll Service Team during key payroll periods.
• Monitor and chase outstanding payroll queries on a daily basis.
• Deliver a high-quality payroll customer service experience to employees.
