Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK is seeking a Payroll Service Manager in Weybridge to lead the Payroll Service Team and deliver an exceptional payroll experience for colleagues. You will own day-to-day payroll query handling, ensuring timely responses within SLAs and escalations when needed.

You’ll partner with Payroll, P&C and Finance to identify trends, improve processes and maintain high service quality across in-house and outsourced environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience and knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
• Experience leading a payroll processing/service team.
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and GDPR/data privacy awareness.
• Experience in both in-house and outsourced payroll environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the Payroll Service Team to a high-performing culture.
• Oversee allocation and management of payroll queries within SLAs.
• Act as escalation point for complex or sensitive queries.
• Monitor service performance and improve SLAs with leadership.
• Identify trends and root causes to improve employee experience.
• Collaborate with P&C, Finance, Payroll, Risk & Audit and partners.
