Job summary

RSM seeks a Business Product Owner to define and govern the roadmap for managed payroll products and related services. You will partner with Technical Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear requirements and prioritised backlogs, guiding delivery teams to high-value outcomes.

You will balance priorities, drive governance, and engage end users to measure value, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across the payroll platform.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a tech-enabled environment, ideally payroll or professional services.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the confidence to engage diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic vision, priorities and roadmap for managed payroll products and related services.
• Translate business requirements into backlog items and deliverables for delivery teams.
• Lead agile delivery activities including backlog refinement and sprint planning to meet business outcomes.
• Drive prioritisation based on value, risk and client impact while ensuring compliance and governance.
• Engage stakeholders and end users to gather feedback and measure value of delivered improvements.
