Job summary

Hireful Ltd in the Birmingham area is seeking a payroll systems experienced Product Manager / Owner to lead a newly created function in a B2B SaaS payroll product. You will own end-to-end payroll product, collaborate with engineering and the payroll team, and shape strategy to bring the product to market leadership.

The role offers flexible UK-wide location with mostly remote work and occasional time in the office, with a salary of £65,000 to £75,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Deep, current UK payroll knowledge (PAYE, NIC, RTI, pensions, auto-enrolment)
• Demonstrable product management experience in software
• Experience moving payrolls between systems (data migration, parallel run, reconciliation)
• Strong written communication; able to produce specs without constant oversight
• Desirable: CIPP qualification

Responsibilities

• Own payroll product end to end: backlog, roadmap, release plan
• Work with engineering and payroll team; test changes yourself
• Act as payroll authority for teams
• Shape long-term payroll product strategy and roadmap
