Job summary

Search Consultancy Ltd is seeking a meticulous Payroll & Pensions Coordinator to join the People Operations team in Liverpool. The role covers end-to-end payroll and pension administration across UK and international jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance within tight deadlines.

You will administer auto-enrolment, reconcile data, and liaise with pension providers while delivering timely payroll outputs. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll and pension administration experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong understanding of pension auto-enrolment and pension administration processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data analysis capability.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and reconciliation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer pension auto-enrolment and re-enrolment across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assess employees per statutory pension requirements.
• Produce, analyse and reconcile payroll and pension data.
• Coordinate monthly pension submissions with providers for accurate contributions.
• Prepare payroll and pension reports for review and sign-off.
• Process and reconcile payroll-related allowances, deductions, starters, leavers, and changes.
• Support monthly payroll processing and reporting activities.
• Build relationships with external payroll and benefits providers.
• Monitor changes to payroll/pension legislation and share knowledge within the team.
• Review and improve payroll and pension processes, controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and third-party providers for accurate outputs.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
