Job summary

Princes in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the payroll team on a permanent basis. The role covers weekly and monthly payrolls across the UK, ensuring accuracy, HMRC compliance, and timely processing.

You will support continuous improvement within the function and assist the payroll manager with key projects, while maintaining pension administration and responding to payroll queries from sites and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience of working a payroll role processing both weekly and monthly payrolls.
• CIPP membership is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of Flexipay is an advantage but not essential as full training can be given.
• Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation.
• Strong IT skills including the use of Excel to an intermediate or expert level.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payrolls for colleagues across the UK.
• Ensure new starters, leavers and salary changes are accurately recorded.
• Process payroll adjustments such as CSA, Court Orders and Attachment of Earnings.
• Submit RTI and Auto Enrolment on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Provide reports for Finance and maintain payroll journals.
