Payroll & Pensions Manager - NHS

A leading NHS body is currently recruiting for a Payroll & Pensions Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

This is a crucial role for the organization and will require candidates to be a strong support for the Head of Payroll & Pensions.

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing a large monthly payroll of over 15,000 employees.
2. Delivering a full start-to-finish process using ESR software.
3. Ensuring all statutory deductions are made accurately and on time, and submitted to HMRC.
4. Managing all year-end processes, including P11Ds.
5. Supporting the Head of Payroll & Pensions with the management of a large payroll team (30+ staff).
6. Training, developing, and conducting appraisals and one-to-one meetings.
7. Recruiting new hires.
8. Delivering payroll projects successfully.

Candidates must have experience working within the NHS sector and be familiar with ESR payroll software to be considered for this role.
