Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll for almost 6,000 colleagues across verified sites in Portland and Poole. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and full regulatory compliance, with emphasis on NMW and UKVI requirements.

This is a leadership role working closely with Operational, Finance, HR and Recruitment teams to improve payroll accuracy and controls. The role offers strategic impact, opportunities to lead payroll system improvements and

Qualifications

• Qualified in payroll, accounting or related discipline.
• Experience leading payroll teams and systems.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll rules and regulations.
• Experience with National Minimum Wage (NMW) and UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) compliance.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead a payroll team of eight and manage end-to-end payroll processing.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and Operations to ensure accuracy.
• Implement controls to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee IRIS Staffology and payroll system integrity.
• Develop integrations between payroll and finance platforms.
• Produce ONS reporting and liaise with HMRC and pension providers.
• Drive payroll transformation and process improvements.
