Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Payroll Manager, leading a substantial payroll function.
• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for a large workforce (e.g., 6,000 employees).
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, including National Minimum Wage (NMW) and UKVI compliance.
• Experience leading and developing a payroll team.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• For foreign applicants, eligibility for a UK Skilled Worker visa and sponsorship process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a payroll team of eight across Portland and Poole, ensuring accurate, on-time payroll processing.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Operational, Finance, HR and Recruitment to improve payroll accuracy and controls.
• Support system enhancements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead continuous payroll improvements to support business growth.
