Job summary

Agincare is seeking a senior Payroll Leader to manage end-to-end payroll for nearly 6,000 colleagues across multiple sites. You will lead a payroll team of around eight, ensure on-time, accurate payroll and full compliance with NMW and UKVI, and oversee IRISStaffology and system integrations with finance platforms.

• Strong understanding of NMW and UKVI.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations for close to 6,000 colleagues.
• Lead and develop a payroll team of around eight colleagues.
• Ensure payroll is accurate, on time and compliant with legislation, particularly NMW and UKVI.
• Build partnerships with operational, HR, recruitment and finance teams.
• Implement controls and processes to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Take ownership of IRISStaffology and oversee payroll system integrity.
• Support development of system integrations between payroll, workforce management and finance platforms.
• Manage relationships with HMRC, pension providers, regulatory bodies and external system providers.
• Produce and submit ONS reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across payroll processes, systems and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for training, development and team growth.
