Job summary

Agincare is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead a payroll function serving almost 6,000 colleagues across the organisation. You will head a payroll team of eight and ensure timely, accurate processing while maintaining NMW and UKVI compliance.

Working across Portland and Poole, you will collaborate with Operational, Finance, HR and Recruitment teams to improve controls, optimise systems and support continued growth. This is a key leadership role in a family-run care provider.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll for large organisations.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and NMW.
• Ability to build partnerships with operational, HR and Finance teams.
• Experience with payroll systems integrations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a payroll team of eight colleagues.
• Ensure payroll is accurate, on time and compliant with legislation.
• Own IRISStaffology and payroll system integrity.
• Support system integrations between payroll and finance platforms.
• Liaise with HMRC, pension providers and regulatory bodies.
• Produce ONS reporting and drive process improvements.
