Job summary

Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our Falkirk-based payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for multiple SME clients.

You will oversee wage increments, overtime, auto-enrolment compliance, and payroll reporting, while developing efficient procedures and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires a formal payroll qualification and experience in a payroll bureau, preferably with Sage 50.

Qualifications

• Formal payroll qualification required.
• Experience in payroll bureau preferred.
• Knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing and auto enrolment compliance.
• Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the smooth running of payroll operations for multiple SME clients.
• Calculate wage increments, overtime payments and public holiday pay.
• Process cheques or bank transfers for employee payments.
• Analyse and report on payroll data.
• Audit payroll to ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Develop and refine payroll procedures.
