Job summary

Management Staff Consultants is looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant for a payroll bureau in south Fife. You will focus on payroll processing and compliance, including auto enrolment pensions and Sage Payroll.

You will prepare client BACS payments, handle payroll queries by phone and email, and keep GDPR-compliant records. Year-end tasks, P60s, P45s, SMP/SSP/SPP will also be managed as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and compliance, including auto enrolment.
• Experience with Sage Payroll preferred.
• Knowledge of GDPR and record-keeping standards.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clients' BACS payments for EEs, 3rd Party and HMRC payments.
• Manage payroll queries via telephone and email.
• Update client payroll manuals as required.
• Maintain GDPR compliant record-keeping.
• Process year end and issue P60s/P45s; handle SMP/SSP/SPP.
• Reconcile bank accounts and allocate receipts.
