Job summary

Cameo Consultancy in Banbury is seeking a Payroll Senior/Manager to oversee payroll for a varied portfolio of clients. You will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely payments across weekly, monthly and annual cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience managing payroll, preferably in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
• Proficient with Sage payroll software.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, RTI and auto-enrolment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
• Process payments and maintain accurate payroll records using Sage.
• Calculate and reconcile PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and other deductions.
• Ensure RTI reporting and auto-enrolment compliance.
• Respond to client payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare statutory payroll documents (P45s, P60s, P11Ds) and CIS returns.
• Support the wider team with operational duties.
