Autograph Specialist Recruitment in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead a high-quality payroll service for a varied client portfolio. The role focuses on delivering accurate weekly to monthly payrolls and ensuring timely compliance.

You will manage HMRC submissions, pensions, BACS payments, year-end duties and provide professional client support. The ideal candidate has experience in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau and is proficient with Moneysoft, Sage, Xero and

Job: Payroll Manager

Location: Cardiff - Office Based (35 hours per week)

Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and deliver a high-quality payroll service for a varied client portfolio.

The role includes:

• Processing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly payrolls
• Managing HMRC submissions, CIS returns, pensions, and BACS payments
• Completing year-end payroll duties accurately and on time
• Supporting and communicating with clients professionally
• Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and deadlines
• Assisting with the development and continuous improvement of the payroll service

The person:

• Experienced within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau
• Strong knowledge of Moneysoft, Sage, Xero, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator who works well independently and within a team
• Able to manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality
