Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking an experienced Payroll Delivery Services Coordinator to deliver high-quality payroll services and support organisational change. The role focuses on coordinating complex payroll processes, maintaining records, and advising stakeholders across public bodies.

Ideal candidates will have an NVQ in Business Management or equivalent, with experience in reporting, data analysis and basic programming.

Qualifications

• NVQ in Business Management or equivalent
• Experience working in a technical environment with reporting and data analysis
• Strong IT skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Coordinate payroll processes across Payroll Delivery and internal teams
• Provide payroll advice and guidance to customers and partners
• Maintain employee records and support HR & OD improvements
• Interpret requirements using knowledge of local government payroll processes and Oracle systems
• Ensure activities are delivered in line with organisational and financial controls
