Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking an experienced executive to own payroll, credit control and data entry in Sage 50 within a fast-paced, people-focused business. The role is hands-on and requires accuracy under pressure with proactive issue resolution.

You will ensure compliant, timely payroll, act as a main contact for contractors and internal stakeholders, and collaborate across the finance function to support operational delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in a payroll, finance, or accounts-based role.
• Proven experience processing timesheets.
• Confident communicating via phone and email with clients and contractors.
• Solid accounting knowledge (posting invoices and staff expenses) and PAYE understanding.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly timesheets accurately and on time.
• Handle phone and email communication with contractors, clients and consultants.
• Ensure PAYE processes are compliant and up to date.
• Identify issues within payroll or finance processes and proactively resolve them.
• Support continuous improvement of systems and workflows.
