Job summary

Advance TRS seeks an experienced executive to manage payroll, own the credit control function, and perform Sage 50 data entry in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure accurate, compliant payroll and act as a main contact for contractors and stakeholders.

Applicants with experience in high-volume recruitment or similar settings will be well-suited to collaborate across the business, resolve issues promptly, and improve workflows.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in payroll, finance, or accounts-based role.
• Proven experience processing timesheets.
• Confident communicating via phone and email with clients and contractors.
• Solid accounting knowledge (posting invoices and staff expenses).
• Good working knowledge of PAYE.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly timesheets accurately and on time.
• Handle phone and email communication with contractors, clients and consultants.
• Ensure PAYE processes are compliant and up to date.
• Identify issues within payroll or finance processes and proactively resolve them.
• Support continuous improvement of systems and workflows.
