Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus in Swindon is seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join the People & Culture team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will process monthly payroll for all employees, support year-end tasks, and ensure compliance with UK tax and NI.

The role requires SAP experience and a willingness to work in the office 2 days a week, with hybrid working options. You will be part of a busy payroll function and help maintain accurate benefit schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience inputting and processing monthly payrolls.
• Experience in month-end payroll journals and reporting.
• Familiarity with year-end tasks (FPS & EPS, P60, P11D, PSA).

Responsibilities

• Input and process monthly payroll for MAN employees in collaboration with Payroll Advisor/Manager.
• Assist with month-end payroll journals and accounting reporting.
• Assist in year-end tasks (FPS, EPS, P60, P11D, PSA) and HMRC-compliant processes.
• Reconcile and pay Tax and National Insurance timely and accurately.
• Handle deductions and payments to bodies (Child Support, etc.).
• Support Pension Administrators and private healthcare administration.
• Ensure expenses are processed correctly and reported.
