Job summary

UKSBS is recruiting a Payroll Administrator in Swindon with flexible locations including Newport and Stockton-On-Tees. The role sits in a high‑volume payroll team with a band B salary of £25,000. Hybrid working is supported, with regular in‑office sessions for sharing best practice.

You will administer payments, process overtime, reconcile data, and support pension and remittance activities while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Numeracy skills and accuracy are essential for payroll processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder queries.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and generic IT literacy.
• GCSE level Maths and English or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities

• Administer and check payments for a specific payroll cycle.
• Process manual overtime submissions and reconciliations.
• Prepare client service packs and reconciliation summaries.
• Handle cash advances and update employee records.
• Reconcile pension data and third-party remittances.
• Set up templates for payments and assist with queries.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to meet SLAs.
• Support ad hoc payroll projects as required.
