Payroll Assistant (4717)

MAZARS LIMITED Birmingham, United Kingdom

About the role
  • Assist with the administration and processing of payrolls to provide a first-class payroll bureau service to clients.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of multiple end-to-end client payrolls, including RTI submissions and end-of-year forms P60.
  • Utilize payroll software efficiently, including import/export functions and report writing (full training provided).
  • Perform manual payroll calculations, including pro-rata salary calculations and salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Apply knowledge of statutory payments, pension schemes, AE process, and pension uploads to providers' websites.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts at all levels.
What are we looking for?
  • Keen interest in pursuing a career in payroll.
  • Some experience in payroll or finance.
  • Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-starter with good organizational and prioritization skills.
