We are currently seeking to appoint a permanent HR/Payroll Assistant. Applications are invited from experienced HR & Payroll Assistants to join our team. Under the guidance of the HR & Payroll Support Manager, you will provide HR and Payroll assistance across the City of Wolverhampton Council and its partners. This includes logging customer requests through our automated call logging system, supporting customers with Tier 1 queries, and undertaking various HR/Payroll tasks to support the team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, well-organized individual to join a dynamic and busy environment as a HR & Payroll Assistant.
Candidates should be positive, possess excellent communication skills, have recent customer service/clerical experience, and be capable of managing workload against strict deadlines. We welcome applications from suitable candidates.

Our working arrangements
All council roles are assigned to fixed, field, or flexible work styles. Some roles are agile, enabling employees to maximize performance and productivity while maintaining work-life balance. Fixed roles are based at a permanent council location. Field roles involve community work with minimal 'touch down' space.
